Chestnut Oak's Bentley is a superb quality Black Drum Horse colt born 4/2/11 and sired by Sid, out of our outstanding sporty registered dappled bay shire mare, Beth.  This boy is something special, has a sweet temperament, and beautiful refined head.  He is a BIG solid boy with long legs and short back. Will reach close to 17hh. Her sire is the black Shire stallion, Fox Valley Quincy's Zero, and great grand-sire is the Legendary Champion English Bred Shire Stallion, Rhyd-Y-Groes Premier King! Dam is one of our top Shire mares, Steege's Beth.

Hope stands 17.2hh and has been professionally trained in Training Level Dressage for the last five years.  She has three gaits, walk, trot, and canter.  She has excellent conformation, long legs, lots of hair, a beautiful head and sweet temperament. She is sound with no health issues, has had the best of care and is up to date on everything. Good ground manners and gets along well with other horses.

Sired by the amazing Gypsy Horse stallion, Clononeen Romantic Traveler, who has one of the sweetest heads ever seen on a gypsy horse! Dam is one of our top Shire mares, Steege's Beth, she too has an exquisite head plus insane amounts of hair (see more of Beth on our Mares page). This boy's great grand-sire is the Legendary Champion English Bred Shire Stallion, Rhyd-Y-Groes Premier King! One of the best known grey shire stallions in England, Canada, and North America, he left a wake of show winnings that are still tough to match.

Drummer Boy has been tested and confirmed Homozygous for the black gene E/E, a/a/, however he exhibits a beautiful chocolate dapple coat with a flaxen tail.
